Cotton On’s DESTINATION SWIM BRAINWAVE
Summer is finally here, but what swimwear brand will holidaymakers be tanning in this upcoming season?
When it comes to clothing, Cotton On (Australia’s largest global retailer) always aim to be top-of-mind among teenagers and young adults. To achieve this goal with the launch of Cotton On’s latest swimwear range, the brand took a different approach by creating Destination Swim.
During Destination Swim, some of the nations favourite social media influencers were invited to experience a 4 day trip with a jam-packed, fun-filled itinerary like no other. A videographer, photographer and social media expert was brought on board to capture the moments in the specific swimwear range. Fans and followers were able to follow each day’s excitement on the official Cotton On Instagram account.
Cotton On Australia pulled-off their version of Destination Swim and within the last week of September it was Africa’s turn (the pressure was definitely on!). To help scout and manage the influencers, as well as to manage the social media during these 4 days, Cotton On required CBD’s expertise and OBVIOUSLY we took on the challenge.
By the end of Destination Swim (Africa version), 8 restaurants were visited, 7 activities were exercised, 5 towns were explored and above all – 7 swimming locations were utilized. Beautiful shots were taken during the week and in the end Cotton On Global was more than satisfied with the outcome.
