Capetonians dusted off their cosplay costumes, ironed out their superhero capes and got their game on at South Africa’s ultimate Pop Culture and Gaming Festival, Comic Con 2023. For the fans, by the fans.

The four-day Festival focuses on ALL elements of Pop Culture and brought International & local Comic Artists, Film and TV Celebrities and Cosplayers to South African shores.

The Gamer Island at Comic Con, equipped by Asus and fuelled by Serum Energy Drink, was a hive of activity.  Located in the heart of the convention, the island offered the latest in gaming technology where visitors could compete in tournaments and contests against other players for awesome prizes such as JBL headsets.

Asus in collaboration with Serum Energy Drink, supplied their latest equipment and gaming consoles. Here, gaming enthusiasts could compete against Cosplay Fantasy Gamer Rachel Kay and SA’s very own Superman, Siv Ngesi for the chance of winning an Asus Rog Chariot Core Gaming Chair.
